SNOWING!!!! In St. George!!!!!

Will and I had a snow ball fight! It was so much fun! It snowed for 3 days off and on. We probably got a total of 1 inch of snow and the funny thing is school was cancelled!

Oh Christmas tree

We decided to buy a small one this year. I absolutely love it! Even more than our first one which was pretty big. The little one’s our so much easier to maintain and its super cute! Thanks for the old ornaments mom and grandma! I love the rocking horses and the apples. It reminds me of Christmas when I was little.

The dust that is!

A lot of Umm’s and What’s?

“I need to register for this math class.” Some random kid says as I look up from my chemistry book. My response, “Ummm…. Right….OK….. Ummmm…. Hmmm…. What was that again?” This is my brain on chemistry and biology. All communication responses in my brain completely shut down when I’m using the left side of my brain. Which is kind of embarrassing because then the kid looks at me like I’m retarded and the school must have felt bad for me so they hired me to drool and look like I’m helping. That’s how I felt anyways. But, I must admit that it was totally worth it to look like an idiot because I scored an A in my Biology and Chemistry! Woot! Very exciting since I must have beat my head against the wall about 50 times stressing over my chemistry and biology, worrying that no school would accept me because I suck at Science. I also found joy in my beginning jazz dance class. I was super worried since I’d never danced before. It was a blast! I had so much fun and I would really like to take another class. I’m thinking about taking a beginning ballet class to strengthen my technique.

I'm the one on the back row in the middle

And....We rocked out!

So, remember how I said that I was not too excited for the Aquabats concert, well....I had a blast! And the best part was that I totally did not expect to have fun. I was a little worried about not having fun on the car ride over to the electric theater and then we rounded the corner. A huge line of about 300 or so people. I gawked at the line comprised of 14 year old poser emo girls, guys who looked like jocks, complete nerds, dudes that actually looked like they knew what music actually was and parents with their 3-4 yr old children. It was an OMG moment, What did I get myself into! 4 year old children were coming! I was going to a concert that this line of people probably had no idea who these Aquabats even were. I mean, they are like 40 year old men who are overweight, right? Well, Im going into too much detail so I'll get to the point.

The crowd went wild for DJ Lance Rock from Yo Gabba Gabba (Its the Aquabats kids show thats on nickalodian). The crowd was kinda like "ok....what is this?" at first. But after a while everyone got into it. There were robots on stage telling us to get our wiggles out and we sang "Theres a party in my tummy, so yummy, so yummy!" Its Yo Gabba Gabba's way of teaching kinds to eat healthy food. Although a little different and wierd, I had a blast gettin back down to my kindergarden roots and rockin out with my abc's and the emo's played along.

I must say that the best part of the show was Suburban Legends who opened the show for the Aquabats. They were Awesome! They put on a show! They had a guy on the trumpet and a guy playing the trombone and the whole thing was coreographed. They danced and sang at the same time. They were unbelievably awesome and they pretty much stole the show!
By the time the Aquabats came on stage it had been 3 hours of rockin already, but (I'm totally an old lady when I say this) my feet really hurt and I was super tired and ready for bed. So, the Aquabats didn't get my full attention but they were good, but Suburban Legends was trully worth my 15 bucks!

End of School Jitters!

Yes!!!! Halla freikin luya! School is finally coming to a close this semester. I'm so excited for finals to be over! Of course I haven't studied for any of my finals yet. My Jazz dance final is on Monday and I'm a little nervouse on how its going to turn out. My teacher is going to be reviewing our performance tape and grading us on how well we do. I saw the dance stage for the first time today. SCARY! The stage pretty much looks like a black tarp of death! I hope I do well and not let my nerves get to me.

Also, Will is taking me to my first concert on friday! I'm excited, but no jumpin outa my pants excited! I'm not the hugest fan of the Aquabats, but Will is litterally counting down the hours till friday so it makes me happy to see him so excited.
