My little sister Katie and fiance Tyler were married in the St. George temple on May 14. It was an amazing experience because we were all together in the temple, all of my sister's and their husbands, my mom and dad and grandma and grandpa. Not one person was missing. What makes it even cooler is that we have all been sealed in the same room in the St. George temple (except for Karen :(, Mike I blame this on you!) I'm so proud of Katie for choosing to be worthy to be married in the temple and for choosing such a great guy!
Katie being so BEAUTIFUL and happy on her wedding day!
The cake and the flowers turned out BEAUTIFUL and AMAZING! My favorite were the dark purple mum's. I've never ever seen a mum!
Mike eating a delicious cream puff (aka, an expensive twinkie) like a Nobleman
This picture makes me laugh every time! Family pictures with the Colvin's consist of Jake and Jackson making faces and or being distracted, Sammy giving the grump face and Kelly looking beautiful. Boys...this makes me think of the episode of Malcom in the Middle when they try to get family pictures. Haha, so funny!
These little nuggets of joy were the best things I have ever eaten in all my life! They were like a brownie dipped in milk chocolate and then sprinkled with toffee bits. I seriously ate like 50 of them!
Sammy and Nate love Uncle Will.
That is they LOVE Uncle Will to chase them around like he's a ZOMBIE coming to EAT their little BRAINS!!!!

What's on my mind
I feel the need to just write. I feel like I’m nearing a turning point in my life and I’m just too excited to sleep. You know that feeling you get the week before you go to Disneyland or Christmas and you’re so excited that you can’t do anything but think about it? Ya, that’s how I feel. And to top it off I am going to Disneyland in a week and I haven’t had a break or vacation in such a long time that I’m counting down every minute of every hour! I feel like I’ve taken crazy pills….the good kind of course. Haha. That’s what I’m feeling right now. This summer my work cut my hours. I was sad about it at first because I was hoping to earn some extra money for cushion, just in case something happens and Will doesn’t get the job he’s been working for. We might need to move to wherever teacher’s are being hired and I’m excited about that. Change is coming and I’m so ready for a change. I just want to get away and do something new. So, what will be will be. I’m going to use all my extra time to do fun projects that I’ve been dying to do. It’s been so long since I’ve been able to be creative and create my own art. This will be a summer of new beginnings. I will not start projects and then never finish them. Homemade things don’t need to be perfect. In fact, homemade things are made even better for their imperfections. I think back to an American flag quilt that I made about 6 years ago and it was PERFECT….except for one star that was backwards. I didn’t notice it until I had completely finished it. There was no turning back to fix it. It made me laugh how much work I had put into that quilt and how much I wanted to make it perfect. It took me about a year and a half to finish it. I kept starting it and then stopping it. I went over it again and again to make sure nothing was out of place and now that it was finished after a year and a half of work and a single star was backwards. Since there was no turning back I had to accept it. It was a learning lesson for me because it was PERFECTLY IMPERFECT! I loved it and I’m so glad I had made that mistake. It was beautiful in every way. I’ve already finished 2 projects and have started on the 3rd which will be done by Friday hopefully. Most of it is sewing. I hope to show you all pictures of projects galore!
