My latest projects

Over Summer break I did a whole bunch of projects that I never got a chance to post, so here they are! Of course there is a pile still in my corner of unfinished projects and projects that I just gave up on but, those will have to wait till next summer :( Ugg... I miss my project fun! If anyone else has some fun project ideas let me know! I'm getting bored of school.

I made this mug for my dad for Father's Day. He can never find a mug that has a wide enough lip to dip toast in his Hot Chocolate so this was perfect! And I painted this cool argile print on one side that I am most proud of! He loves it and uses it often.

Anyone recognize this table? Yes, its the ghetto lip gloss table from B&BW! I am so glad April saved this table from being dumpsterd. I love it and it makes the perfect craft and homework table. It was pretty nastified so I scraped off the old gum on the bottom and sanded down the whole thing.

The finished look! I painted it black and I love it!

For Aprils baby shower I made her this cute picture frame. Her colors were pink and brown and her theme was elephants so I quilted this little felt elephant. Then I added little pink knobs so that she could hang stuff from them. I turned out just how I had imagined it! Yay for sucessful ideas!

The Tricksters of Halloween!

Ahhh!!! I love halloween. When I'm 80 years old I'll still be dressing up for Halloween. It's one of my favorite holidays. I have some of the best memories dressing up a kid and going out and getting pillow cases full of candy and then at the end of the night, dumping at all out and sorting it, counting it, and putting each candy in its own catagory...wierd, but who hasn't done that! My Trick-or-Treat record is 1 3/4 pillow cases. I'm pretty proud of that. So what better way to celebrate Halloween than hangin out with some new Tricksters of this generation!

My nephew Jackson was Peter Pan. He loveeed his costume and he was so proud of it. My sister Kelly made his cute little costume. She did an awesome job.

My sister Kelly (as a mean hideously beautiful witch), Little Sam (as a puppy), and me (as nothing :(. I know! I'm still a little depressed that I didn't get dressed up. That's a later story)

Jake as his own twin.

This house was soooo cool! The picture is not very good, but there was a house set up down the street from my sisters that was all decked out like a haunted house. The kids had to go through in order to get their candy. So fun. Yep, I'm totally going to do that once I have my own house. I want to be the coolest house on the block that all the kids run to!

Craft Night!

Ok, so this is way late, along with all of my other latest posts. I've been crazy busy with stupid tests and homework. I just got to keep telling myself that it will all be worth it someday. You know, the killing of my brains after math tests have been pelting at it for more than 15 years strait in exchange for a good job and good money.... *sigh*... someday. So my brain needed a little vacation from all the analytical crap and Halleluya!! My friends Staci and Steph came to rescue and invited me to a fun craft night! I haven't had a craft night in about a year so it was fun getting my creative juices flowing.

The girls were both planning on going to WITCHAPALOOZA. From what I've heard it's a little village that gets all decked out in halloween decorations and everyone dresses like witches and there are prizes and contests and fun stuff like that! And you have to make your own witch hat...It's pretty much a requirement if you want to be cool :) I didn't get to go, but I will be going next year! So I made a witch hat anyways and I wore it to work on Friday the 30th.

I added lace to the brim of my hat. It's my favorite!
